TERMS OF SERVICE
Welcome to Kid’s Speech Buddy AI (KSBA). By subscribing to or using our application, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Nature of the Service (Demo Release)
The application utilizes advanced artificial intelligence engines to provide real-time tutoring and coaching for children. Because every active lesson consumes paid external AI computing credits, a subscription is required to cover these ongoing operational infrastructure costs.
2. Subscription, Pricing, and AI Credits
• Low-Cost Access: The app is offered at a heavily discounted price specifically because it is the first batch of a release. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future major version updates.
• Usage Allocation: Your subscription covers the active AI tokens and credits required to power your child's lessons. Shared accounts or automated bot usage designed to exhaust AI credits are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination without a refund.
REFUND POLICY
Because your purchase immediately allocates real-time AI credit costs on our servers, we operate under a strict No-Refund Policy, with one single, clear exception:
• Lesson 1 is completely free to try so you can fully test the compatibility, performance, and features of the app on your device before spending any money.
• Breaking the Seal: Entering Lesson 2 or any subsequent paid module constitutes "breaking the digital seal" and actively consuming backend AI resources.
• The Exception: We will honor a refund request if it is submitted within 14 days of purchase AND the child profile has not entered Lesson 2 or any paid portion of the app. Once Lesson 2 has been opened on any level, all sales are final.
4. Limited Technical Support
KSBA is maintained and operated by an independent creator.
• There is no dedicated, real-time, or 24/7 technical support team available.
• The application is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
• While formal support SLAs do not exist, the creator intends to answer support, billing, and technical queries in good faith via email as time permits.
PRIVACY
We prioritize child privacy and strictly comply with global standards (such as COPPA and GDPR frameworks). We do not collect or store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for children. Parents are explicitly encouraged to use initials, first names, or completely anonymous nicknames when creating the internal child sub-profile. We do, however, store the child’s progress to enhance the user experience. This can be things like what lesson the child is currently at and what items is in the digital backpack. This information is generic and can not be used to identify anybody.
